Can Vicent, besides being one of the most privileged places of the island of Ibiza (the small, wild and lovely Cala Carbó), is a restaurant full of history and personality, a child's dream come true.
Vicente Marí (the owner), went there almost every day as child to walk the cows. In 1981 he took his wife there to let her know about this amazing place and made a bet: that someday he will open a restaurant in that particular spot, so people could enjoy the place as much as he did.
Needless to say he made it, and thank goodness, because this way, his clients haven´t lost this magic place full of light, quiet ... and excellent food.
Today is a classic. The simplicity and naturalness are two of its hallmarks. A close relationship, no tricks and at the same time, a luxury. The sense of intimacy that gives the fact of being away from the rest of the wolrd makes of Can Vicent an ideal place for those who want to disappear for a few hours.
Can Vicent offers a varied menu with fresh and summery starters, as the Mexican avocado gazpacho or arugula salad with goat cheese. Also classics like fish soup, seafood rice or fried squid. Paellas, bullit of peix with arroz a banda or grilled fresh fish are amazing.
