    Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Cala d'Hort offers crystal clear water with a gentle slope and rocky margins for diving. Cala d'Hort is considered by many visitors of the island as a mystical and energetic place, while others simply prefer to go and enjoy a good paella and fresh fish.
One of the best beaches in Ibiza. Something that makes Cala d'Hort a special and magical place is the stunning Es Vedra, an islet rising 385 meters from the sea off the cove. Its distinctive shape and size mastered the entire beach and is present from every angle of Cala d'Hort. It is a good plan to go swimming to it, if you are fit.

Cala d'Hort was declared Natural Park and so you can enjoy the beauty of its well preserved surroundings.

It is a perfect surfing beach on windy days.

To see the sunset, it is preferable approach the left side of the beach, or peep from the cliffs.
Sheltered by high cliffs, access by car is comfortable and easy following the road signs, but you must be careful in its last stretch because of the downhill with a slope of 15%. Free parking can be found nearby.

In the summer months the road becomes a single lane road because of cars parked on the roadside, so get there early if you want to enjoy the beach without setbacks.

Sunbeds, umbrellas, restaurants, boutique, lifeguards, access for disabled guests.

There are two excellent restaurants on the beach, recognized for their quality and fresh fish and of course the traditional seafood paella: Del Carmen y Es Boldadó.

There is also a small boutique open during the summer and sells beachwear design clothes.

    Getting to Cala d'Hort

It is better to go by car as public transport is rare and is difficult to access by bicycle.
You can reach Cala D'Hort from San Jose, heading for the diversion of Es Cubells, or from San Antonio.

The parking of Cala D'Hort is small so you might have to leave your car on the slope leading down to the creek and walk from there.
