    Description

Benirrás beach is one of the most famous in Ibiza, not only for its natural and captivating paradisiacal beauty, but as one of the most famous hippie places of the White Island.

Benirrás, 7.5 kilometers away from the village of Sant Miquel de Balançat, it is a recess in the land of the sea. Thick and  toast sand and not too deep.

Diving enthusiasts will especially enjoy crystal clear waters and rocky margins. Access is simple and is paved to the beach. There is a free parking just before entering the beach. But in summer, as it is crowded it is normal to leave the car parked along the road.

A really beautiful path between hills and valleys leads to Benirràs Beach, a small bay surrounded by pine carpeted hills. The small sandy cove is full of charm. The surroundings are ideal for long walks and enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets of the world. From Cala Benirràs you can take a walk by the road connecting the beach with the Port de Sant Miquel, there is the Cova (cave) de Can Marca, of great beauty and offers daily tours.

In Benirrás take place the famous Festival of Drums on Sunday evenings of summer months. Although it started spontaneously at the hands of a group of hippies who found in this place a magical point (thanks to the light projected from the sea), is now an important event that a few people want to lost and Benirràs has become an essential visit .

The sound of drums does not stop in all the afternoon and as sunset is near, the festival attracts more and more people, so access to the beach by car is quite complicated. It is better to go early and be aware that the police is always around to control the parking lots. If you want a quiet place, the festival of the drums won´t be a suitable place.

    Services

Sunbeds, parasols, showers, restaurants, bars, boutique, lifeguards.

There are three restaurants on the beach, a clothing boutique and a snack bar. Elements Restaurant is one of them, highly recommended. With a great and complete menu and cultural events of high quality.

How to get to Benirrás Beach

We leave Sant Miquel de Balasant by the road leading to Port de Sant Miquel. There are see indications all over the residential estate.

Arriving at Port de Sant Miquel take the first turn there at the entrance of urbanization to the right following the signs to C'an Marçà Cave.

Follow this road to its junction with Benirràs road, which continue to the left, heading north. The road ends at the beach.
